The Principal, Gordon Robertson BEng MSc IEng AMIStructE MCIOB
FFB established the company in 1997 to provide Professional Consultancy
Services to Clients involved in the Property and Construction
Industry. Since being established the company has carried out
over 800 commissions for various private and corporate clients
in all sectors of the industry.
As Building Consultants and Structural
Engineers we provide a full range of consultancy services from
feasibility through design and construction to completion.
GJR Limited carry out the design of all structural elements including
foundations, reinforced concrete, structural steelwork, masonry
and brickwork, timber and other non-traditional materials. Designs
are prepared in accordance with the relevant British Standards,
Codes of Practise and the Building Standards Regulations.
Residential projects form a significant part of our work, both
for private clients and Developers. This work includes alterations
to tenemental and townhouse properties, attic conversions and
alterations / extensions to dwellings.
We offer Building Design and Structural Design Services for Local
Authority submissions (Planning Permission, Listed Building Consent
and Building Warrants) including surveying and preparation of
calculations / drawings and Structural Design Certificates.
We work on contracts throughout Scotland. Recently we have been
involved with projects in Glasgow, Dunbartonshire, Lanarkshire,
Edinburgh, Stirling, Perth, Dundee, Braemar, Elgin, Barra, Uig
and Stornoway.
